Getting involved...

There are lots of opportunities for getting involved in the work of the Landscape Trust, maintaining our reserves, and helping us to promote a greater awareness, understanding and appreciation of the National Landscape.  The main areas where we always need more hands — or minds — appear below, but there are plenty of smaller but equally vital tasks that need doing, such as helping us to set up or clear up after exhibitions, deliver Keer to Kent through letter boxes, etc.  To contact us about volunteering opportunities, whether to offer your services or merely make a casual enquiry, please use the form at the bottom of this page. You don’t need to be a member of the Trust to work with us!

Conservation work

The Trust owns a number of reserves within the National Landscape, managed for sustainability, biodiversity, geodiversity and for their landscape value. We hold regular work parties throughout the year to keep them in tip-top condition. Use the form below to sign up or simply to find out more.

Walking & talking

We run a varied and programme of events each year, including social events, competitions, lectures and educational walks, talks and visits. We welcome offers to provide talks, lead walks, or to lend a hand organising or stewarding events.  You can get in touch with us via the form below.

Publicity

Help us to get the word out! We desperately need help putting together a regular electronic newsletter, keeping our web-content up to date, helping to keep our members and social media followers informed about what we’re doing. If you’d like to get involved, drop us a line via the form below.

Digital skills

Do you have data management or web design and development expertise that you would be able to offer to help the Trust keep its website functional and its data systems fit for purpose?  If so, please get in touch via the form below.

Governance

The running of a charitable organision is becoming an increasingly complex business these days and we are constantly on the look-out for potential new trustees. To learn more about what this involves and what would be expected of you, contact us using the form below.
